As a new player you don't have to rush through the quests, sometimes it's better to play a lot slower and enjoy it. It's much easier to just do two or three tasks the ones you are able to do and follow the
QUESTS BOOK (located upper left corner of your game screen).
- Perform the updates in order the game release them working on several quests may be overwhelming ...
- IGNORE the new weekly updates.
- ALWAYS focus on the old ones.
The QUESTS BOOK is actually different to the left hand side as it will keep things in order & stop you from getting muddled as you work your way through quest lines. Players are finding it VERY useful!
It is MUCH easier to use the Quest Book as there are several quest lines on each page and each quest line has the whole list of missions next to it. This saves scrolling through the list on the left hand side and also you will know exactly which mission belongs to which quest line.
Recommended for new players:

📍 3. - Go to pag 4, start with Golden Valley location
📍 4. - Click on "More"
📍 5. - Start with "Castle on a hill" (have 157 tasks).
Once you complete the story line tasks on Golden Valley location move to Snow Peak complete this and move to Green Hills, Grand Canyon etc.
At Shop, click on the right yellow arrow and scroll back to the first quest. You will see the quests tabs in the order they been released.
The first is named "Castle on a hill", 2nd "Urban scenery", the 3rd is "Home made sweets"etc.
Use the yellow arrows to scroll back and forth to view all the quests.

Food is one of basic sources in the game. You need food to make the most of actions in game. Food is produced on:
- Fields, Sam's farm by growing high-quality products that will became food;
- in Gardens we can grow fruits that will became food;
- as reward for completing different tasks;
- as free gift from the Golden Valley Community;

- from the Shop/Important tab buying different Menus: Classic Menu costs 15 bucks provide 500 food, Original Menu costs 40 bucks provide 1500 food, Royal Menu costs 60 bucks provide 2.500 food.
Tips from players:
📌 1. When you collect food from farm/field the total not go above your storage amount (like mine is 1400) but when you visit neighbours, the 25 food you get from each visit and the rewards at 50 and 200 clicks do add to total above your storage. Before you start your neighbour visit try to have your food level at the maximum because then all you earn from visit add to your total. I use potatoes in farm and field for quick boost. I have 1 farm and 2 field and get 120 food in 90 seconds, if you do tomato that is 220 in 5 minutes so potato more profit and quicker in 4.5 mins you would get 360 food.
📌 2.When you are actively playing, use the shortest time on food and coin buildings for the best profit in both. When you are leaving the game for a bit, use longer time settings.
📌 3. Put Fields down - as many as you can that grow crops which give food and keep harvesting.
📌 4. Make sure to work on getting your fields & gardens built and upgraded but at same time keep up with your storage as you can only take what your able to store that should keep you in food for coins houses I find are the best resource if your in the game a lot to keep collecting from otherwise add some commercial buildings like the cafe, restaurant and etc .... Making sure to do your daily visits each day helps out as each click gives you coins & xp then the bonus of food and coins as well as your extra bonuses you get at 25, 50, etc...... Hope this helps some new players.

To gain a lot coins, try to add Ice cream stand,and Hot dog stand, focus to upgrade them first to max level, once they are upgraded you can turn them on, on each minute,the ice car will bring you 150 coins pro minute, and on 5 minutes that's 400, but the costs are higher then ( so prefer the 1 minute ).
On the hot dogs cars will bring 25 coins each stand that's with 5 stands 125 coins per minute, and with 5 minutes 300 coins.
Also here ( prefer the 1 minute ).
Together they bring you on 1 minutes 275 coins.
Together they bring you on 5 minutes 700 coins.
So when you count that you launch them each minute thats 5 times 275 = 1375 coins.
Be sure to have enough Fields, and fill them with potatoes, they stand shortest and bring the most profit from all 4 options.

- If you enjoying licking on Ice Cream from the stands your plain ice-cream will profit you 30 coins with the Creme Brulee topping the licking skills at 80 coins in a lickn' 5 minutes.
- Butch's Restaurant Drive - In, where the girls/gals still use their roller blades to serve you a hearty meal when completely upgraded will bring you 1900 coins every 4 hours.
- If your into using other buildings and are looking for more of a bang for your coin, the Supermarket "mother's Products" fully upgraded gives you 2600 coins (needed supplies are from the Cowshed/cottage cheese and the Factory "Sweet Home" for the Berry Pie.
❓ How to obtain bucks? 💵
You can earn Bucks by participating and winning in Golden Valley Community and
Golden Valley Official Group contests, as free gift from the Golden Valley Community. Daily log in, from visiting and helping friends. You can also buy bucks from the Bank or from the special offers made by developers.
You may use the bucks to speed up all the actions in the game and also to buy some extra buildings, resources and decor.
Replace, 🔄 rotate and ❌ remove.
There is an icon with an yellow arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on it to see a menu that will help you to replace, rotate and remove (but you cannot rotate building with inscriptions, fields and gardens).
Attention!
It's possible to rotate all the buildings except some of them which are important for the story, have inscriptions and also fields and gardens.
Unfortunately, this is a technical limitation which helps to keep the game well optimized. With such possibilities the app will work much slowly.

Happiness is a resource which is necessary to build houses. You can improve the happiness in your town by decorating it. All the buildings in the Shop/Decor category improve the happiness, also some building in Commercial buildings category make people happier :)
Get your happiness levels up so you unlock houses, build them and upgrade them. The higher your happiness level the more houses are unlocked.

Your friends will see what gift you need. We can have just one item on the wishlist.

To get neighbours in this game you need to add them as Facebook friend.
In order to visit a friend:

✔ 3. When you are at friend's town, you have 5 Guest action available: you can only click on the buildings visiting friends, clicking on them give us experience and coins.
In a single day, you can visit 40 friends and spend 200 points of Guest actions.
Once you spent the 5 Guest action available at your friend you get as reward: 25 Food, 25 Experience and 50 Coins.

If someone visit your city this action remain invisible ... so there is no "ungrateful neighbour " (*^_^*)
Sleeping friends the "Zzz" ones are the friends that are not playing the game anymore. The "Zzz" will will show on player avatar after few days of inactivity. You have two ways to remove the inactive 💤players either you unfriend them as Facebook friend, or ask those friends to remove Golden Valley app, this way they will not appear on your neighbours bar at all.
❓ Workers! How to get more workers? 👷
There are people, who live in your town and also one of basic resources in the game. You need them to make the most of action in your town (building, collecting, manufacturing etc.)
Workers live in houses. When you need to improve the number of your workers you should build a building of residential buildings category. If you need to build more houses you need to upgrade City Hall. It requires 3 houses of 4th level (which one depends on the level of City Hall). Happiness is required to build that houses.
Building houses should be one of your main focuses as without workers you cannot do anything however there are limits to what your allowed to build that depends on 3 main factors
📌 1. Your city happiness lvl.
📌 2. Your current municipality lvl.
📌 3. Your current actual lvl.
So make sure to always keep an eye on what is going to be needed to upgrade your City Hall, try to accumulate enough coins to buy items from the deco tab to raise happiness and do this while of course working on getting the needed items for building the actual house.Now each house has levels that you can upgrade them and this is important as not only does it have them make more coins but gives more workers with each upgrade and its also needed to be able to upgrade your City Hall.
They have total of 5 lvl's and can be done by getting items needed except the last lvl which can only be done using 'bucks" but is NOT mandatory, is optional.

Scout's camp is located across the waterfall. You need to open the land first than you get with help of your friends: LOCAL MAPS.

To change the language of the game is very easy! Simply click the yellow tab on the top right and select the language you prefer!
Once you click on the yellow tab, you will see the available languages. It is possible to keep your progress and switch from English to Italian, Spanish, Polish, Arabic etc.

There will be a lot of free space, to craft all buildings!

Totally love Blooming Valley... I have quite a lot of housing there and busy making and sending items to upgrade and make more ...
Have also built a Restaurant for coin collection. As I have no place on GV for extra buildings, I also built a grocery shop there and trained over a good batch of eggs.
When I have the daily task to earn money selling eggs, I have an extra building to help.
I use my food to chop trees and train wood back to GV as well.
Its a way to use my train instead of it staying dormant to get collection items.
As there is so much space, I have the cafe train museum, mini coffee shop and soda machine there for coin collection, Its my little gold mine.
Nice place to just decorate and have fun in the quiet times. Would love more deco items there though...

I love Blooming Valley its our own little play area to experiment and make extra coin. I also am adding things here to improve my coin that i will need in other areas. would like to see a few more of the production items there so we don't have to ship them in but otherwise its a wonderful playground.

Blooming Valley is a little gold mine!! You can play, design, have fun and build it in your own sweet time. Have plenty of houses to collect rent from, plenty of land to play and all with NO quest. Im slowly adding buildings just for show, not craftingfrom. This is where I finally mastered the road manager tool just playing around made parking spaces 🙂

My thoughts of Booming Valley are that it's great to have a land just for whatever you choose :D It is very pretty too!
I have a small neighborhood for now and then I added a restaurant to serve breakfast and the Cafe-Tram Museum using those Tokens from the achievements and of course those lovely lagoon areas. ^_^
If you put lagoons set next to each other they make for a neat larger lagoon to view and enjoy!
My advice is to have fun with it, however you wish!
Tips & Hints from players to players!
Realize that this game is unlike any other game.
You have to be willing to spend the time to do the work by yourself.
Take your time.
Also in the beginning you are given quite a few food and coins - use them sparingly.
Buy another field and upgrade to level 4 and in your 2 fields continually plant potatoes and tomatoes for food while you are playing.
At night set the fieldsfor the wheat so it will be ready in the morning.
Buy a garden when you can as you plant fruit in them and they give more food.
Use your coins to invest in your main buildings so you can make the items to purchase what you need.
You will need storage the worst so upgrade the warehouse you have to the 4th level and then purchase another one as it allows you to store more food
so the more warehouses you have that are upgraded, the more food you can store.
Also purchase the ice cream and hotdog stands to make your coins.
The game is always giving you a choice and you may get confused - just take a breath and focus on what you want.
I chose not to worry about quests..... they will be there another time. I will slowly get them done.
There is something called Scout Camp that will be very important to you as you will need it to get the local maps needed to open most of your territories. Open as soon as you can.
Have plenty of friends that actually play the game.
Never be afraid to ask anything as we are all here to help each other.

Ok first off make sure to join the community and create a posting under the 'Add me' to get some neighbors as having them is very helpful in gaining coins, xp and food right away just from visiting them.
Also the great developers of the game were nice enough to not make any expiry on the gifts so even though its tedious and does take a bit of time I advise to browse back in the community posts to the first gift and click and collect them all, that will give you a huge boost to a lot of materials as well as a nice bonus of 'big bucks'.
As for what to start off working on in the game I would suggest to put your focus into following and completing the quests as at the start they actually help you take the right direction in starting out then once you get to the point where you have some wait time for tasks to finish and such shift your focus over to the 3 main aspects of the game Money, Food & Storage (Experience will come as you do everything).
Housing & commercial buildings are the best ways to accumulate coins I focus a little more on housing as they also create another very important resource 'Workers' (The more you have the more you can do at once) but you have limits on housing so commercial buildings add extra help and don't be afraid to build multiples of the same building (Cafe is a good one its easy to build, upgrade and once done creates good income with min resources).
Now with all this being said two very important factors is food & Storage you want to make sure you have the most amount of food coming in but at the same time don't neglect your storage as you can only take what your able to store, so working on fields & warehouses is key.
All this should be enough to get you started and set on the right path, where to go next well I would suggest to continue following the quests and as for what to build next its best to look at whats going to be needed for quests finding out which building creates those items then working on building them.

There are 6 important things you need when starting this game.
1: Workers - workers need houses and food.
2: Food - nothing in this game works without it so plant as many plots as your space will allow and start of with the shortest time crop..in time add at least 2 gardens as these are ideal for overnight planting.
3: Storage - build Warehouses and upgrade to maximum.
4: Money - build commercial buildings including a few of Road Cafe's as these are good money builders.
5: Neighbours - these are needed to visit for extra food , coins and XP, pus they are needed to send you free gifts.
6: The most important one is Patience ..... Rome wasn't built in a day so neither will your valley! Play at your own pace and Enjoy! :)
